We offer sites with water, electricity, and gray water. We do have some sites with 50 amp service in our field. All other sites are 30 amp service. We also have 10 rustic tent sites. None of our sites have black water connections.
No. Our sites either have all hook ups or no hookups.
Yes. There is an early check-in fee of $20 per site, or rental. If your site/rental is not ready, you can use the facilities. You MUST notify the office ahead of time. Please note that we do not have parking for RV’s if you need an earlier check in.
Yes. There is a late check-out fee of $20 per site/rental, as long as there is availability to do so. If the site is unavailable, but you’d like to stay to use the facilities, you may still do so for that $20 fee. The site/rental would have to be cleared by the 11am check-out time. Please note that all late departing guests must be off the property by 4pm. You MUST notify the office ahead of time of your plans.
We do our very best to accommodate specific site requests. However, we do not guarantee any site request, and we reserve the right to move you due to unforeseen circumstances.
For an RV or tent site, we require 14 days written notice, prior to arrival, to notify us of the cancellation. You will get back the total charge, less a $25 cancellation processing fee. If canceling within those 14 days, you will be offered a credit for another stay, but will not receive a refund. For any one of our rentals, we require 14 days written notice, prior to arrival, to notify us of the cancellation. You will get back the total charge, less a $45 cancellation processing fee. If canceling within those 14 days, you will be offered a credit for another stay, but will not receive a refund.
No, but each amenity site is equipped with gray water access, so you will be able to release your gray water, but will have to hold your black water. We have a dumping station on the property for short term guests. We have a septic truck that goes out weekly, and for a fee and with prior notification to the office, can pump out the black tank.
Yes. We have restrooms and showers located behind our pool area. We also have two, private outdoor showers, located behind our restrooms, on one of our site loops.
We offer activities every weekend during our season. Typically, those activities include crafts, games and/or something outdoor themed. We have a pond for fishing, kayaks, beach volleyball, a Gaga Ball pit, basketball, and various lawn games. Many of our theme weekends are designed with kids in mind.
Yes. We have WIFI throughout the park. We also have our HotSpot Internet lounge, located next to the store. This is purposed for those who may need a quiet area to get some work or studying done.
We are definitely dog friendly. We have our dog park with two sections. You must provide a copy of the proof of rabies vaccination certificate for each dog being brought into the campground. Dogs must be on a 6′ or less leash throughout the campground. Retractable leashes are not permitted. All dogs must be tethered or contained on a site. Dogs can never be left unattended. Dog waste must be cleaned up and thrown away in the dumpsters. While we do not restrict breeds, we ask that you be able to maintain control over your dog(s) at all times. Any altercation between dogs is to be resolved between owners. The campground is not responsible for any issues that may occur.
Yes you can. There is a fee for every visitor that comes to the campground. A Guest Day Pass is required for each visitor. Passes are $10 per adult and $5 per child. Guest Day Passes must be returned to the store before closing, or each visitor will be charged an additional $10 per adult and $ 5 per child as an overnight guest. We ask that you notify the office in advance to register your visitor(s). Each visitor must check-in and then check-out at the office/store, before closing, to obtain and then return the Guest Day Pass. The office must be notified before closing hours, if any day visitor(s) will be staying overnight. Please note: overnight visitors can not exceed the 6 person per site limit.
Absolutely! Children 15 and under MUST wear helmets pursuant to CT state law. Bicycle riding is not permitted after dark. Bicycles cannot be left in the middle of the road, parking areas or on the field when participating in activities.
We do not allow any kind of micro-mobility leisure devices, which include motorized bicycles, e-bikes, electric pedal bikes, e-scooters, or e-skateboards. Electric scooters for people with physical challenges, are the only vehicles allowed, with proof of need.
Only our seasonal guests are allowed to have golf carts.
You can, as long as you keep it off the roads and away from populated public spaces.
NO! They are an invasion of privacy!
Only our Classic Cabins are dog friendly. You must indicate, when making your reservation, that you are bringing a dog or dogs. There is a higher deposit fee in case of damage or messes. Check with the office before making your reservation.
You will need all bed linens, towels, eating/cooking ware, and paper towels. We supply special toilet paper meant for our rental septic tanks. You might need extra garbage bags. Check with the office or this website to see the sizes of the beds in the unit(s) you’ve reserved.
We prefer that you buy your wood from us or from local sources. Connecticut advises that you use only local or certified, heat-treated firewood. This is to avoid the spreading of invasive pests.
